Volodymyr Lytvyn, the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has Presented on Wednesday Scientists, Production Workers, Men of Culture and Officers of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Secretariat with the State Awards, Diplomas of Honor and Costly Presents of the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine "for the Ukrainian People service in the formation of the independent state, acting in order to protect citizen rights and liberties, development of democracy, parliamentary activity and high professionalism".
According to V. Lytvyn "it is exactly formulation that determines the nature of those who received the awards". He stressed "the peoples who work hard and are industrious should be moral idols", and specially now in present hard times.
